The Gospel reading to today is John 20:19-31, recounts the story of Christ appearing to the Apostle Thomas in order to dispel his doubt about the Resurrection. Thomas is remembered for his confession of faith: “My Lord and my God,” thus being the first to publicly proclaim the two natures of Christ: human and divine. Also we read in the Gospel, John 15:17-16:2 in which Jesus is addressing the Apostles (minus Judas) on the eve of his crucifixion. We get a clear vision of world hatred, but what is most important is loving one another and bearing witness to God.
