JULY 16: ADULT CATECHETICAL WORKSHOP – “THE 7 AGES OF THE KINGDOM – AN INTRODUCTION TO THE STORY OF THE BIBLE FOR EASTERN CATHOLICS”

daniel-dozierJULY 16: 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Fr Deacon Daniel Dozier, from St. Nicholas parish in Orlando, Florida (parish in Eparchy of Passaic), will present a Catechetical Workshop for Adults called: “The 7 Ages of the Kingdom- An Introduction to the Story of the Bible for Eastern Catholics.” The event is free and no reservation is required, but please RSVP for planning purposes to Ss. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church at [email protected]  The event is co-sponsored by the Byzantine Catholic Eparchy of Passaic and Ukrainian Greek-Catholic Eparchy of St. Josaphat.

Fr. Deacon Daniel G. Dozier is a Byzantine Catholic deacon in the Eparchy of Passaic, where he serves as the Assistant Director of Eastern Christian Formation. He has published and taught on the subject of icons and catechesis at conferences, and workshops, and is the author of “The Twelve Great Feasts of the Messiah and the Mother of God: A Guide for the Domestic Church” (Eastern Christian Publications). Fr. Deacon Daniel is currently working on an adult catechesis program on biblical salvation history for Byzantine Catholics, entitled “The Advent of Salvation” which is due to be released Fall of 2015. He has a B.A. in Theology from Franciscan University and an M.A.T.S. in Biblical Exposition from the University of Northwestern-St. Paul. He and his wife have three adult children.
